Well it's official, Danny Granger to the LA Clippers. Granger, a once highly regarded talent and franchise player for the Indiana Pacers, chose LA over other great teams like the Heat, Spurs, Mavs, and Rockets, which are all playoff teams. The former All-Star reached a buy out agreement with the 76ers following a trade before the February deadline which sent former number 2 pick Evan Turner to the Pacers. The Clippers have been building to become a top notch contender in the western conference these past couple of years. All beginning with the addition of All-Star guard Chris Paul, the addition of future hall of fame coach Doc Rivers; as well as, the emergence of players like J.J Redick, who's battling a back injury, and Deandre Jordan. With a stack full of great bench and role players, adding Granger seems like a fail proof plan to at least land, the once dark horse of the league, in the conference finals. However, sometimes things aren't always good as it looks on paper; so we'll see if they live up to the hype. Granger is in the last year of his contract becoming a free agent at seasons end.
