At the 42nd annual Capital Classic, which puts the top DC area talent up against the top U.S talent, I got a chance to interview who I thought was the best player on the court PJ Dozier. Dozier scored 16 points, 7-9 from the field, with 5 boards but somehow didn't win the MVP award, which went to his teammate Luke Maye (15 points 12 boards). Dozier is probably one of the smoothest players I seen this year. Everything seemed easy for him, his demeanor never changed throughout the game even when the game was close in the final seconds.
Dozier will attend South Carolina next season, playing for the fiery Frank Martin. He is the nephew of former Gamecock and Dunbar Poet, Terry Dozier.
