We traveled down to Virginia Beach to catch undefeated Ocean Lakes take on the 6-1 Bayside Mariners. This game was slated to be a good one, Bayside being the first quality opponent the Dolphins has seen this season.
It ended up being business as usual for the Dolphins, trumping the Mariners 58-6, their 6th time this season scoring 50-plus. This also the seventh time the Dolphins has held their opponent to under 7 points which is very impressive.
The Dolphins defense is led by future Florida State Seminole, cornerback Levonta Taylor. Taylor held Phillip Patterson, future Virginia Tech Hokie, to 0 catches, basically taking him out of the game. Taylor followed Patterson all over the field, not sticking to one side.
Listen in to hear Taylor speak about his commitment to Florida State, the Dolphins dominance, and why he puts a $5 dollar bill in his shoulder pads.
