I'm kind of disappointed I didn't get a chance to watch this game since I was spending the day covering the Maryland Boy's Basketball State Championships in College Park, but once I saw that Kyrie dropped 57, I had to share my opinion.

I'm not going to be a prisoner of the moment and shout out "KYRIE BEST PG" because that title still belongs to Russell Westbrook but Kyrie Irving, aka Uncle Drew, is not too far behind. This is the second time this season Kyrie put up 50+, leading the Cavs to victory, scoring 11 points in overtime, Cavs winning 128-125.

I'm not a fan of the 1-n-done rule but Kyrie may be the only exception for that rule. It's amazing to see how much this guy continues to get better after each season, and seemingly each game. We all know LeBron is the best player on the team but for situations like this I want the ball in Uncle Drew's hand.

57 points is Uncle Drew's new career high, the most points ever scored on a Popavich coached team and in San Antonio, and the most points scored this season. It only took him 32 shots (62% FG) to set his new career high, along with going 7-7 from behind the arc. Kyrie credited his teammates for getting him open but he should also credit his handles. I don't think their is a debate on who has the best handles in the league.

Looking at the boxscore, I can tell this was a good game to watch. Lebron finished with 31, while the Spurs had 4 players in double figures, Tony Parker leading the way with 31. Tim Duncan finished with 18 points and 11 boards.

Kyrie wore these bad boys when he dropped 55 against the Blazers in late January. No telling when these will hit the stores.

The beauty of sneakers, for me, is they can tell the story of a players careers. Monumental moments in certain players career, you always remember what shoes they wearing. It's a great marketing strategy that Nike has trumped all at. Kyrie and Nike debuted his first signature sneaker this season, and I actually like how they look. I'm still contemplating on whether or I will cop a pair but these 50-point performances are making me want to kick out that $129. I haven't seen many people wearing them on the street which is another reason I would like to grab them. Tell me how you feel about the Kyrie 1s, cause I think they are a for sure cop.
