Pacers end Cavs streak
Cavs missed the opportunity to tie the franchise record of 12 straight wins, after losing to the Pacers by 4 on the road. Cavs actually had a 13 point lead in the 3rd quarter, 67-54, but a 13-3 run in the final 5 minutes of the quarter helped the Pacers get back in the game. In the 4th quarter, the Cavs went 3-10 from behind the arc, while the Pacer was 4-7.
Kyrie led all scorers with 29 points, a big difference from the ten points he scored against the Clippers. LeBron finished with 25 but committed 7 turnovers and was 10-21 from the field. K-Love, who for the second time in 3 games, only scored 5 points. Pacers had all 5 starters in scoring in double figures, CJ Miles leading them with 29 points.
The Cavs are still in good position, just had a bad loss. I think the acquisition of J.R. Smith and Timofey Mozgov really helped the Cavs out. Smith, replacing Dion Waiters as that extra scorer, has been playing some good basketball for the Cavs so far, while Mozgov has been that man in the middle they needed after losing Andeson Varajao for the season. Kevin Love still doesn't seem to fit with this team. I think he is still trying to figure how to fulfill his role.
