Just a couple weeks ago, Klay Thompson dropped 50 points in the Oracle. Wensdeay night, Steph Curry also dropped 50 in the Oracle. I don't know what it is about that arena, except that it's their home gym, that makes these two shoot teams' lights out. Curry finished with 51 points (second time in his career scoring 50) and was 10-16 from the three point line. The crazy thing about this game, the Mavs were up 42-25 at the end of the 1st quarter, Curry with 11. Warriors would go on a 14-2 in the second quarter to cut the Mavs lead to 47-44. At halftime the Warriors was only down 62-58 but Curry only had 13 points. Curry and the Warriors caught fire in the second half, outscoring the Mavs 70-52, while Chef Curry scored 38.
We all know the mantra, "Live by the jumper, die by the jumper" which describes the Warriors perfectly, so it's no guaranteed that they will be NBA finalist this year. What I will say though is that, no one in the history of the NBA has had two shooters like this on the same team. As you can see, these two are instant offense and could catch flames at any time. The Warriors are a very interesting team because you want to believe that they will make it out of the west but then you always remember, "Live by the jumper, die by the jumper"
