I always been critical of James Harden, only because I thought he wasn't ready to be a franchise player, but he has been proving me wrong this Season.
Harden currently leads the league in scoring, averaging 27.5 points per game, and Tuesday he dropped 40 for the 6th time this season. Harden had a crazy stat line, also posting 9 dimes, 12 boards and 3 steals, in the Rockets 127-118 victory over the Suns. Josh Smith contributed with 20 points off the bench
Eric Bledsoe had a good game with 32 points, 4 boards, 4 dimes, and 2 steals.
This is the second straight 40-point game for Harden, scoring 45 against the Blazers Sunday, who is currently the front runner for MVP right now. It's not much Harden can't do offensively with the ball, reason why he is the leagues top scorer. He can take you off the dribble, shoot it from anywhere, and makes the toughest adjustments look easy.
The Rockets have been without Dwight Howard (out with a knee injury) for the last 8 games, Harden averaging 30 during that span. Howard is expected to miss 6-8 weeks so we could potentially see a historic scoring run by the Beard.
