Magic Johnson was the innovator of the no-look pass. Magic was doing more than dropping dimes, his passes were nothing less than poetry in motion. Magic was more than just a passer, he was a true definition of an all-around basketball player. It's no need for me to give you a run down of his accomplishments because you should already know them. Instead just take a look at some of finest passes. Happy 50th Birthday Magic.
The Little League World Series began today and 5 teams scored at least 10 runs, 4 games ending early. The star of the day without question was Pierce Jones of Jackie Robinson West. Jones knocked out three home runs in 5 innings, helping JRW defeat Lynnwood, Washington, 12-2. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the home run show but I'm glad to my pick for the Series is off to a good start.
Nevada 12, South Dakota 2
Missed plays in the in-field was the main reason for South Dakota defeat but shortstop Matthew Hegre made some nice plays early in the game. Both teams were looking for their first victory in the LLWS.
