Bob Knight has never been one to hold his tongue and on Mike n Mike in the Morning he expressed his feelings about the age requirement in the NBA, saying the NBA has "raped" college basketball. People have been feeling some type of way about Knight using the word rape but he isn't lying. College has been raped by the NBA because they take players before they're ready, leaving less talent and upperclassmen. The 1-n-done thing has been detrimental to both the NBA and College Basketball and it shows. If the NBA was to make players stay for at least two years, talent would be more spread out throughout different schools, which would create more competition. NBA also would benefit because players would be more mature and the talent level will rise. I can tell this will be a big topic this off-season between the NBA and NBA players association.
Marcus Paige let the world know he will return for his junior season on twitter. Paige also tweeted that he never thought about leaving and wants to work on his game. Paige lead the Tar Heels in scoring, averaging 17 points a game. I think this is the first of many underclassman that will forgo the draft and stay in college.
Fan-I Sports would like to send our condolences to the Bills organization for the passing of their owner and founder, Ralph Wilson.
The NFL wants robots, not players, robots. All these rule changes and new penalties are completely eliminating any type of passion and fun. I don't see the point in doing this but to add more control on their product, I mean players. Owners have also agreed to a centralized replay system, where all replays will be reviewed at the leagues' officiating command center in New York. Officials will be in constant contact with the command center before and during challenges and replays. This just sounds like a bad idea and fuel for conspiracy theorist this upcoming season.
