Michael’s Weekend Warriors(WK2)

Week two of the NFL picked up right where week one left off. There was once again some great things to talk about and some not so great things that I didn’t like. So without further intro here are the week 2 weekly warriors.
Best Team of the week:
The was a lot of teams that this award could have gone to but this award I feel should go to the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Big Ben and his receivers right now are just on the same page. It seems that whenever Big Ben is ever in trouble on third down all he needs to do is scramble to his right and dash up the ball for a first down.
Worst team of the week:
As much as I want to give two particular teams this award, unfortunately I can’t.  So since I can only give one team the title of “Worst team of the Week” that team is the Dallas Cowboys. They only scored one touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks and the DB’s (Defensive Backs) are just terrible period.
Best Player of the week:
I really didn’t want to give this award to a quarterback for two straight weeks but how do I not give the award to Eli Manning. Yes he had 3 interceptions but he had 500 yards and 3 touchdowns not to mention he pulled a “Tim Tebow” (spoiler).
Worst player of the week:
I could give it to Jay Cutler but im not im giving it to… what am I saying Jay Cutler was just bad. I know his offensive line is not the greatest but I’ve seen better stat lines in a high school game (11/27 126 yards 1 touchdown 4 interceptions).
Comeback of the week:
Obviously the New York Giants have the comeback of the week. They were down 14 and then cue the dramatic comeback by the Giants. Manning literally pulled a Tim Tebow, he had a less than stellar three-quarters and an amazing fourth quarter. I have nothing to say except for great job to the New York Giants.
Surprise of the week:
I got two surprises. First one I may be in the minority on, but Andrew Luck has not impressed me like I thought he was going to impress me. He hasn’t had the first two games best games and usually rookies that are hyped as much as Andrew luck come out of the gates hot but I think it takes time for a methodical quarterback like Andrew Luck to get comfortable. Second the defences for the most part have been playing very solid. I was excepting some ridiculously high scores early like last season but the defences as a whole has stepped up and hopefully for them it stays that way.
Look its only week two so if your team is 2-0 don’t be annoying and say your team is the best team in the NFL, and if your team is 0-2 don’t worry there is hope for your team. And for any fantasy players hopefully you picked Michael Vick, Eli Manning etc. for fantasy and played them.
