The Perfect Fan Experience

The Lakers did what they were supposed to do, go to Denver up 2-0. The Lakers took full advantage of home court, winning game 2 104-100 but it wasn’t as easy as Game 1. The Nuggets played with a lot more intensity this time around especially in the paint. Kenneth “Manimal” Faried racked up a double-double with his 14 buckets and 10 boards. The Nuggets was down 19 in the third until they came back and cut the lead to 3. Ty Lawson also showed up today with his 25 point performance after his terrible performance in game 1. Rookie Faried made a costly turnover that resulted to a dagger And 1 by Bynum. Bynum didn’t have a triple-double but he did drop 27. The star of the game though was none other than Kobe “Bean” Byrant. Kobe dropped 38 on the Nuggets and made that great pass to Bynum that led to the And 1. This was Kobe’s 83rd 30-point playoff performance more than anybody except MJ. Kobe Quest to that 6th ring is on the right track. Kobe feels the Lakers are actually primed for the Finals and I can’t really disagree with him. Two 7 footers and arguably the best player in my generation is a great mix for the Finals. Also with “Razor” Ramon Sessions, they won’t be abused so much at the point guard position. BUT the West is not a cake walk like always. Every team has a good chance to make it to the Finals especially the Spurs, Thunder, Mavs, Clippers, and Grizzlies. So Kobe if you want that 6th ring, you going have to really be MJ to get it. Game 3 is Friday in Denver.
